Key responsibilities
- Own and execute Gaming Division’s product strategy that will ensure the continued growth and success of the business.
- Contribute towards gaming product strategy in alignment with gaming division business and market growth.
- Thought leadership to identify gaming market technology needs and trends which we can leverage to enhance our product portfolio.
- Working with the Group engineering teams to ensure our gaming product portfolio is delivered on time and on budget.
- Engaging with customers and the commercial teams to identify market trends and opportunities that will translate into the development of an enhanced and innovative product portfolio.
- Establishing and overseeing development projects with teams based in Italy and Taiwan.
- Submitting investment cases for product development and providing full operational and financial reviews on all projects.
- Identifying new technologies that will innovate and develop new product ideas and features.
- Developing a strong relationship with the sales function and acting as a key technical partner to the customer base.
- Attending customer meetings and trade shows with the sales team to discuss technical requirements with customers and champion the technical capabilities of the company.
Requirements
- Strong engineering background with extensive experience operating in both technical and commercial roles in PC x86 based computer solutions covering hardware and software disciplines.
- Experience of developing computer technology solutions for the gaming industry is required.
- Exposure to managing a product development team focused on an electronic product portfolio would be a pre-requisite.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills coupled with a strong commercial awareness that will ensure you build credible relationships with customers and the sales team.
- Flexibility to enable frequent travel – (domestic and international)
